Designs To Intrigue - 2015 Gala
Beginning with the First Glimpse Party to the Patrons Reception to the Gala, momentum built for this year's Conservancy black-tie benefit for Centennial Park and the Parthenon. Chaired by brilliant impresarios Karen Elson, Neil Krugman and Mike Whitler, November 7th at the Parthenon was a unique evening with breathtaking moments. Karen, Neil and Mike delivered on their promise of an evening that was stylish, conceptual, unpredictable and fun. From pop ups of dancers performing the Paso Doble in full costume, to School of Rock students singing old Neil Young tunes, to the amazingly talented Karen Elson belting out "Tennessee Waltz" and haunting us with "Dead Flowers," the moments and the guests were captured by strolling artist Gerri Findley throughout the evening. As magnificently as this year's Gala delivered, the best part was raising funds to support the ambitious Centennial Park restoration and award-winning programming at the Parthenon. Huge gratitude to the Gala Chairs and to our wonderful Honorary Chairs, Clare Armistead and Hope Stringer. Most important of all, we thank YOU, our generous Gala supporters - Bravo!

Our fifth annual Conservancy Gala was indeed a night to celebrate!
Gala Co-Chairs Beth Fortune and Debbie Turner created an unforgettable party to benefit the Parthenon and Centennial Park. Guests arrived on a blustery November evening and were greeted by truly elegant décor by Mike Whitler of Branches. Performances by a high wire walker were offered during the lively Cocktail Hour - the graceful aerialist walked a tightrope in stilettos and en pointe. Dinner by Johnny Haffner was heavenly, from lobster bisque and tenderloin to frozen chocolate amaretto souffle. Immediately following dinner, the crowd swooned over a stellar performance by world-renowned electric violinist Tracy Silverman. It was a perfectly magical, elegant evening.
Along with Honorary Chair Clare Armistead and the Gala Committee, our signature fundraiser was full of sizzle. Each year promises to be stylish, unpredictable, and fun. Thank you to our generous Gala supporters. Bravo again to Beth and Debbie, and please mark your calendar for next year on November 7th.

Designs in Verde - 2013 Gala
On November 2, 2013, The Conservancy hosted a black-tie benefit to provide financial support for two of Nashville's favorite treasures, the Parthenon and Centennial Park. Hallmarks of our signature Gala are performance art, elements of surprise, style and unpredictable fun. Funds raised enable the Parthenon's award-winning educational programs to thrive, and help carry out Centennial Park's Master Plan to revitalize our park and restore it to its deserved glory. Gala Co-Chairs Brooks and Bert Mathews chose Designs in Verde as this year's theme. It was a very special evening.
