INTERNSHIPS

Build Your Resume While Supporting Centennial Park

Centennial Park Conservancy has a history of making internships available to college students and pre-professionals that wish to grow their experience in a variety of marketable areas. Our interns build their network and receive exposure to a dynamic nonprofit organization that is working to enhance our community by revitalizing and activating Nashville’s central park.

We commit to providing internships that are mutually beneficial with resume-building responsibilities that interns can apply to their careers. We view our interns as learners who offer a valuable fresh perspective. We treat each intern as a professional team member and part of the CPC Community. Centennial Park Conservancy paid internships help to develop and educate professionals from all backgrounds with an emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and representation. Our interns are currently paid $12.00 per hour, and may receive college credit.

Internships are offered to students currently enrolled in an academic institution during the school year, or recent graduates. Successful candidates must submit all application materials and complete a background check if selected.

TIME PERIODS:

CPC internship periods coincide with the fall and spring semesters and summer break. They have some flexibility, but typically occur within the spring (February - May) or fall (September - November) semesters, with summer opportunities also available. Hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules, and some remote work is possible depending on the internship area or assignment.
