Artist Bios:

  • Joy Oladokun is an acclaimed American singer-songwriter whose music seamlessly blends folk, R&B, rock, and pop. As the daughter of Nigerian immigrants and a proud queer Black artist, her work often explores themes of identity, resilience, and social justice. Inspired by Tracy Chapman, Lauryn Hill, and Bob Marley, Oladokun began playing guitar at age 10 and later pursued music full-time after moving to Los Angeles. She has released five studio albums, including Carry (2016), In Defense of My Own Happiness (2021), and Proof of Life (2023), with her latest, Observations From a Crowded Room (2024), receiving critical acclaim. Known for her deeply personal songwriting and activism, Oladokun has captivated audiences on major stages like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza and through performances on shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

  • Artist. Activist. Alt-pop hitmaker. Advocate. For years, MORGXN has built his career on the borderlines, blurring genres and disciplines into a platform that's every bit as diverse as his music. He strikes a new chord with HEARTLAND, a pair of cathartic EPs written in Nashville and stacked high with songs about conversation, connection, change, and coming back home. For an Emmy-winning musician whose voice has taken him everywhere from Broadway stages to the Billboard charts, HEARTLAND marks something new for MORGXN: a full-circle return to the city he once left behind, inspired by the new love he found waiting there. There are campfire anthems like "EVERGREENS," empowered rallying cries like "MAKE IT OUT ALIVE," and duets like the Katie Pruitt collaboration "TALK ABOUT IT," all delivered by a third-generation Nashville native who's bold enough to dig up his roots and plant a new landscape.

  • Lydia Luce makes music that connects her innermost feelings to the great outdoors, writing songs that bear witness to her hopes and dreams and fears. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, she lived in Boston and Los Angeles before settling in Nashville. On her latest album, Mammoth, she charts her long recovery from chronic pain, celebrates the hard-won intimacies in her life and ponders the serendipity that lies at the heart of all things.

A violin and viola player, she has played for the likes of Eminem, Dolly Parton and Annie Lennox (though not, sadly, at the same time) and is one of the co-founders of the Nashville-based string collective Lockeland Strings. She also releases ambient music compositions under the artist name Lethe.

  • Russell Durham is a composer and multi-genre fiddle player. Hailing from West Texas by way of Colorado, he grew up in the classical music world before following his abiding love of bluegrass, country, and folk into the realm of Americana music, where he has become a sought-after string arranger and session player. Equally at-home drawing from classical and folk styles of playing and writing both in-studio and onstage, Russell has collaborated with the Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, Feist, Rodney Crowell, and many more. He is an alumnus of The Juilliard School in classical violin performance, and undertook additional composition study at the New England Conservatory. He currently splits his time between Nashville, Tennessee and the Colorado Front Range.
