VOLUNTEER
Lend Your Time to Support the Park and Parthenon
Become a Volunteer
There are several ways you or your organization can donate your time to support Centennial Park Conservancy and help further our mission in the park and Parthenon.
Centennial Park
There are multiple ways to be of service inside the park at the many festivals and events organized by Centennial Park Conservancy. The Nashville Earth Day program takes place in the park every April. Late spring and fall feature our Musicians Corner concert series. We also have park cleanup events monthly, and other ways to be of service as an Ambassador for the Conservancy.
For more information, and to sign up for upcoming individual opportunities, email our Volunteer Coordinator, or email our Sponsorship Manager for corporate opportunities.
Upcoming CPC Volunteer Opportunities:
The Parthenon
Do you enjoy history and art? Do you enjoy talking with others about them? Then the Parthenon’s Docent Program may be tailor-made for you. The Parthenon is actively looking for docents to be the exciting link between Greek history, Nashville history, American art and community. They are seeking energetic volunteers who will give tours to school groups, adult groups and individuals, answer questions, give directions, and act as ambassadors for Nashville and the Parthenon. No background in history or art is necessary, just a love of learning and sharing with others; we'll give you the tools to create your tour! In the training program, participants study the ancient Greeks and their culture, mythology, American art, and Nashville history.
Kidsville
Our Kidsville program is continually seeking volunteers to support our programming in Centennial Park, the Parthenon, and at community engagement locations across Nashville. Please contact our Kidsville team for more information.
