To mark the closing of our groundbreaking exhibition, Repatriation and Its Impact, and the successful repatriation of over 250 pre-Columbian artifacts that will be returned to Mexico later in the summer, the Parthenon, Metro Parks, and the Centennial Parks Conservancy are thrilled to host an informal celebration on Sunday morning, July 14th, filled with music, food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities for your enjoyment.
This exhibit, which has garnered national exposure in The New York Times, NPR, and NBC, is a testament to our community's support and dedication. We are honored and proud to return these artifacts to Mexico, and we hope this achievement will inspire others to take action.
Join us for this free celebration in front of the Parthenon, at the Ellipse near the entrance of the museum, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
